I saw this 1960 Renault Caravelle advertised on Craigslist in the Sierra Foothills, about 3 hours from my home in San Francisco in October 2015. 3 years later the restoration was complete and I have been driving in locally since then. It was in rough shape but was mostly complete. There was hardly any rust though most of chrome was pitted. The interior was in shreds- but sufficiently intact to serve as useful upholstery panel templates years later.  Also present were several old ham tin cans that were used to store sparts as the car was previously owned by a meat salesman in Alameda.
